About the position

The Oracle Software Developer at Accenture Federal Services plays a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of the PeopleSoft application. This position involves understanding the software application lifecycle, designing, coding, documenting, and testing new and existing system capabilities. The developer will work closely with functional resources to gather customer requirements and deliver sustainable solutions in an Agile environment, while also providing demonstrations of the PeopleSoft system for prospective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional analysts to understand user requirements and perform application development based on those requirements.
• Analyze, design, code, and test various components of the PeopleSoft applications.
• Perform maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting of application issues.
• Provide PeopleSoft system demonstrations for prospective solutions.
• Participate in innovation iterations aimed at improving user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with PeopleCode.
• Knowledge of SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of PeopleSoft fluid development.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HR.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Learning Management or FSCM (Finance).
• Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Knowledge of BI Publisher.
