About the position

The ERP Programmer Analyst position is a temporary role based in Tallahassee, FL, focused on working directly at the client's site. The role involves developing and implementing ERP applications, with a strong emphasis on requirements development, system design, and testing. The position is expected to last for 12 months with potential extensions, and it requires full-time onsite availability.

Responsibilities

  • Follow established plans and processes, providing recommendations for updates as requested.
  • Maintain an understanding of the values used in Florida PALM data.
  • Design, develop, implement, and test reports and queries to meet the Program's financial information needs in consultation with FPA team members.
  • Perform preliminary impact assessments of any Department of Financial Services Florida PALM Project changes and provide impact analysis for reporting and financial management as requested.
  • Attend and document meetings related to the Department of Financial Services Florida PALM Project, scheduling and leading meetings, and providing agendas, presentations, minutes, issues, and decision papers.
  • Provide reports or opinions as directed by the Resource Management Process Manager, FPA team lead, or designee to assist in decision making, including responses to State and Federal agency inquiries and preparing materials for audits and reviews.
  • Assist in requirements documentation and requirements traceability related to the Child Support Florida PALM Project and Child Support Program Financial Reporting.

Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL.
  • 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications or object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Experience in requirements development, system design, and testing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with PeopleSoft data warehouse.
  • Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Analysis, Physical and Logical design, Resource Planning, Code development, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.
  • Experience with Florida state government accounting and reporting.
