About the position

The ERP Regional Sales Manager for the Federal Civilian sector in the DC Area at Oracle is responsible for leading a team of sales representatives to promote and sell Oracle's ERP solutions. This role involves strategic planning, relationship building with key clients, and achieving sales targets while fostering a collaborative and dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of sales representatives, including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process.
  • Sell and promote the sales of Oracle products to customers, negotiating price, concessions, and terms and conditions of the sale.
  • Participate in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
  • Build working relationships with license, consulting, and education field managers to develop joint account plans.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue.
  • Generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts, accurately predicting revenue on a monthly basis.
  • Manage escalation and conduct weekly progress meetings with the sales team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sound independent judgment, initiative, collaboration, and leadership.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Management experience with a consistent record of accomplishment in selling to large, sophisticated accounts and working with C-level executives.
  • Ability to qualify prospects, solve problems, and generate positive customer outcomes.
