About the position

The ERP Systems Analyst / Programmer at Tokai Rika Group is responsible for supporting end-users and system infrastructures across all TRAM Group sites, focusing on business operations programs such as ERP, plant floor, shipping, and scanning operations. This role involves systems analysis, programming, and documentation for various systems and applications, ensuring the smooth operation of multi-facility operations and addressing complex programming tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maintain ERP, shipping, and scanning systems, including the implementation of a new ERP system.
• Responsible for user applications and provide hands-on support and coordination for all TRAM Group locations.
• Design, modify, test, debug, and document systems, producing user-specified reports.
• Design and develop interfaces between ERP and other business-critical systems, ensuring data integrity of manufacturing floor data collection systems.
• Analyze operating systems, hardware configurations, and applications programs to determine system capacity to meet user needs.
• Develop, install, and document application programs and supplemental systems software to improve system performance and efficiency.
• Diagnose and correct operating problems, providing user support for software programs and consulting with end users to determine their information processing needs.
• Maintain and update information systems documentation and user manuals, providing training for system users.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of programming experience in C#, .NET, or VB.net programming languages, and Visual Studio Development tools.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing business processes, with experience in the automotive industry being a plus.
• Experience in PLEX ERP is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio.
• Familiarity with automotive components manufacturing processes.
