About the position
The ERP Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading various technical projects, particularly those involving the HR PeopleSoft enterprise system. This role requires effective planning, execution, and oversight of project deliverables while ensuring that the needs of the Agency community are met through collaboration with IT staff, system owners, and college staff. The position is primarily remote with occasional on-site meetings, and candidates must be available during standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating project timelines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring resource allocation and managing project updates.
- Running steering committee meetings and facilitating effective communication.
- Driving the successful implementation of project initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- 6 years of experience with Agile methodology.
- 5 years of project management experience leading PeopleSoft HCM (version 9.2).
- 6 years of experience leading PeopleSoft HCM or other ERP projects.
- Active PMP Certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior VA state agency experience (State Cardinal system).
