About the position

The Escalation Specialist at I Am Boundless, Inc. is a full-time role focused on resolving complex member issues within the organization. This position is integral to providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary services to thrive. The specialist will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to implement conflict resolution plans and maintain essential resources for staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex member problems quickly and accurately.
• Implement conflict resolution plans effectively.
• Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Operations Managers to address escalated issues.
• Engage with individuals, parents/guardians, Boundless staff, and community members through various communication methods.
• Create and maintain a resource database for staff, including updated lists of available beds and respite options.
• Support the Operations Manager with compliance responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human service field, or comparable experience in the human service field.
• Three years of experience in children's behavioral health, child welfare, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, or related public sector human services.
• One year of supervisory or management experience.
• CANS Certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

• Training in cultural competency or the ability to complete such training within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in family systems, community systems and resources, case management, or child protection.
