About the position

The ESG Client Success Manager at Holtara is responsible for leading client engagement and ensuring exceptional customer experiences with the company's ESG services. This role involves nurturing relationships with high-profile investment managers, understanding their needs, and driving measurable ESG improvements through the platform. The position aims to establish the manager as a trusted advisor while promoting client loyalty and maximizing the value of Holtara's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead clients through the platform and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Own a portfolio of customers, nurturing relationships and ensuring service potential is realized.
  • Understand the ESG landscape and regulatory obligations to drive value for customers.
  • Act as the primary liaison with US clients, typically high-profile investment managers.
  • Coordinate all engagement, communication, and delivery of ESG services post-onboarding.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with clients for upsell opportunities and encourage cross-selling of ESG products.
  • Ensure high-quality report delivery that meets client needs and ESG priorities.
  • Proactively identify improvements in the delivery process and products to maintain best-in-class service.
  • Ensure clients have visibility and access to all Apex ESG products.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in a client-facing role within the financial industry, preferably in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, or Consulting.
  • Experience with high-profile, international clients.
  • Proven experience working with SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, Gainsight, etc.).
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills to engage with multiple teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, video conference manner, and high-level written and presentation skills.
  • Experience delivering multi-faceted projects including client meetings and report writing.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and open-minded with problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of the ESG and/or financial industry is preferred.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Interest in technology and data.

Nice-to-haves

  • ESG and Sustainability background is desired but not a must.
  • Strong networking skills and willingness to network at events.
  • Language skills beyond English would be an advantage.
