The ESS Substitute Teacher plays a crucial role in maintaining the educational process in the absence of a regular teacher. This position involves following lesson plans, aiding students in their learning, and ensuring that classroom routines are adhered to, thereby providing a stable learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration

Requirements

• Certified - Valid SC Teacher Certification
• Non-Certified - High School diploma
• Background Check
• Negative tuberculosis test
