About the position

The Electrical/Robotics Engineer position at Saint-Gobain is part of the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program, designed to prepare participants for a dynamic career in manufacturing. This 18-month program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various manufacturing environments, aiming to develop future leaders in the industry. Participants will engage in projects that challenge traditional manufacturing practices and will have opportunities for global experiences within the company.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Essentials of Manufacturing Development Program for 18 months.
• Engage in hands-on learning and classroom-based E-learnings.
• Work on priority projects that challenge existing manufacturing methods.
• Travel to different plants in North America every three months to learn about operations and build camaraderie.
• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor for guidance and career development.

Requirements

• Completed B.S. in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Robotics).
• Desire to relocate and travel; valid passport required for international travel.
• Willingness to learn and step out of comfort zones.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lean manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with data analytics and project management.
