About the position

The Electrical/Robotics Engineer position is part of the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program at Saint-Gobain North America. This 18-month program is designed to prepare participants for a dynamic career in manufacturing by providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various business units. Participants will work on impactful projects, learn lean manufacturing practices, and develop their technical and business skills while traveling to different plants across North America.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an 18-month development program focused on increasing manufacturing skills and exposure to Saint-Gobain operations.
• Engage in hands-on action-based learning in operational environments.
• Work on priority projects that challenge existing manufacturing practices.
• Attend classroom-based E-learnings and various trainings to enhance technical and business skillsets.
• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor to navigate through diverse business units and gain essential knowledge for career development.
• Travel to different plants every three months to learn about the company's businesses, products, and operations.

Requirements

• Completed B.S. in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Robotics).
• Desire to relocate and travel; valid passport for international travel required.
• Willingness to learn and step out of comfort zones.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
