About the position

The Electrical/Robotics Engineer position is part of the Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program at Saint-Gobain North America. This 18-month program is designed to prepare participants for a dynamic career in manufacturing by providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to various business units. Participants will work on impactful projects, develop technical and business skills, and have opportunities for travel and networking, ultimately shaping them into future leaders in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an 18-month development program focused on increasing manufacturing skills and exposure to Saint-Gobain operations.
• Engage in hands-on action-based learning in operational environments.
• Work on priority projects that challenge existing manufacturing practices.
• Attend classroom-based E-learnings and various trainings to enhance technical and business skillsets.
• Travel to different plants in North America every three months to learn about the company's businesses and operations.

Requirements

• Completed B.S. in an engineering discipline (Electrical/Robotics).
• Desire to relocate and travel; valid passport for international travel required.
• Willingness to learn and step out of comfort zones.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in lean manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with data analytics and project management.
