About the position

The Essentials of Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical/Robotics Engineer position is part of the 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) Development Program at Saint-Gobain North America. This program is designed to prepare participants for a dynamic career in manufacturing by providing exposure to various plants, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences. Participants will work on impactful projects, develop their technical and business skills, and have opportunities for global experiences within the company.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an 18-month development program focused on increasing manufacturing skills.
• Engage in hands-on action-based learning in operational environments.
• Work on priority projects that challenge existing manufacturing practices.
• Attend classroom-based E-learnings and various trainings in lean manufacturing, data analytics, and project management.
• Travel to different plants in North America every three months to learn about operations and build camaraderie with peers.

Requirements

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Robotics, Electrical).
• Desire to travel and relocate; valid passport required for international travel.
• Willingness to learn and step out of comfort zones.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
