About the position

We are a boutique law firm specializing in estate planning and corporate law, seeking a dedicated Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. This full-time position is based at our office located at 155 North Riverview Drive, Anaheim, CA. The successful candidate will work exclusively with estate planning clients, engaging in a variety of tasks that are crucial to the estate planning process. Responsibilities will include drafting estate plans, directly communicating with clients, managing signing ceremonies, and notarizing documents. The role will also involve utilizing specific legal software, including WealthCounsel and Clio, to ensure efficient and accurate handling of client matters. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, personable, and upbeat attitude, which is essential for interacting with clients and colleagues alike. Prior experience in estate planning is highly beneficial, as it will enable the candidate to navigate the complexities of the field with ease. Impeccable communication skills are a must, as the paralegal will be responsible for conveying important information to clients and ensuring that all documentation is clear and precise. Strong organizational skills are also required, as the candidate will be juggling multiple schedules and tasks simultaneously, often under tight deadlines. Proficiency in computer skills, along with strong grammatical and proofreading abilities, will be critical for success in this role. Candidates must submit a resume for consideration, and while cover letters are encouraged, they are not mandatory. This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. The work schedule consists of an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday, providing a stable and predictable work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting estate plans for clients

  • Maintaining organized records and files for multiple clients

Requirements

  • Valid Paralegal Certificate certification
  • 3 years of experience as a paralegal (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience in estate planning (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in legal software, particularly WealthCounsel and Clio
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent grammatical and proofreading skills
