Diaz Anselmo & Associates P.A. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal to join our team in Naperville, IL. As a paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys by managing the preparation and organization of legal documents related to estate planning and probate. Your responsibilities will include opening and closing files, preparing various legal documents such as pleadings and motions, and ensuring that all deadlines and requirements are tracked meticulously. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients and third parties, scheduling meetings and court appearances, and coordinating the execution of estate planning documents. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is not an immediate remote working position, and candidates should be prepared to work in the office. Responsibilities

  • Opening and closing files
  • Document preparation with nominal oversight, including estate planning and probate documents, pleadings, motions, and real estate transaction documents
  • Tracking dates, deadlines, and requirements, as well as assisting with billing by generating invoices and sending payment requests
  • Communicating with clients and third parties in a professional manner
  • Scheduling meetings, conference calls, closings, and court appearances
  • Coordinating the execution of estate planning documents
  • Assisting with professional development and marketing matters, including scheduling and PowerPoint preparation

Requirements

  • Excellent data entry skills

  • Previous experience is helpful but not required
