About the position

The Esthetician Instructor (Part-Time) position involves teaching and guiding students in the field of esthetics. The instructor will be responsible for developing course materials, delivering effective instruction, and evaluating student progress. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high educational standards and supporting the overall mission of the institution.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program development, improvement, evaluation, and recruitment
• Assist with selection of textbooks, instructional materials, equipment, and supplies
• Prepare lesson plans, course overviews, and course syllabi
• Plan projects for hands-on experience
• Deliver effective instruction using a variety of instructional techniques
• Evaluate student progress and provide appropriate feedback
• Maintain inventory and submit requests for ordering supplies
• Continuously develop professional expertise in industry-specific topics
• Maintain cleanliness of class/grounds/lab areas
• Maintain complete, accurate, and accessible files, records, daily attendance, and other paperwork/reports
• Submit attendance records, reports, and grades in compliance with RCC policies and procedures
• Effectively handle work environments and conditions that involve working closely with others
• Perform other tasks as assigned which support the mission and vision of RCC

Requirements

• NC Cosmetic Arts Esthetician Certification
• Instructor License

• At least 2 years teaching experience
