About The Position

The Estimating Lead at Nucor Rebar Fabrication Mid-west is a leadership role responsible for supervising a branch estimating team. Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Knowledge of concrete structures and CRSI/ACI standards.
• Ability to track plan revisions and bid updates against previous work.
• Good communication and computer skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings (structural, architectural, civil).
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and handle changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Two-year technical degree from an accredited school or college.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the branch estimating team and allocate work appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to Nucor Rebar Fabrication's safety programs and standards.
• Demonstrate leadership consistent with Nucor's vision and values.
• Lead the team to achieve enterprise and division goals, including safety culture and continuous improvement.
• Provide industry-leading service and communication to differentiate Nucor from competitors.
• Oversee the accuracy, quality, productivity, and timeliness of estimating work.
• Communicate with the Estimating Supervisor and other Estimating Leads to manage resources effectively.
• Mentor teammates and provide performance feedback, coaching, and training.
• Assist in periodic performance reviews of the estimating team.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Estimating Supervisor.
