About the position
The Concrete Construction Estimator will be responsible for compiling costs and preparing bids for small to mid-sized commercial concrete projects. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in concrete estimating and will work closely with the management team while also being able to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand blueprints/plans for concrete structural and flatwork projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for small to mid-sized commercial concrete projects.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure project estimates align with company standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to complete estimating tasks.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Use Onscreen Takeoff software for project estimation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in concrete, structural, and flatwork construction estimating.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and plans related to concrete projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Onscreen Takeoff software.
