The Estimator position at Midwest D-Vision Solutions involves providing expert estimation and project management services for commercial glazing projects. Responsibilities
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings
- Exceptional communication skills, both in verbal and written forms
- Must be able to work in a team
- Must be able to be self-motivated
- Communicate with external vendors to maximize project profitability
- Plan and specification review
- Project-specific quantity take-offs
- Build strategic and sustainable relationships with our clients
Requirements
- Experience with storefront and curtain wall systems is a must
- Past experience with construction-based accounting software systems will be advantageous
- A Construction Management degree is regarded highly, but not a requirement
- Ability and eagerness to interface directly with clients
