The Fence Estimator and Project Manager at Seegars Fence Company is responsible for assessing project requirements, estimating costs, managing timelines, and overseeing the successful completion of fence installation projects. This role requires a strong background in fence construction, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with teams to deliver high-quality installations and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of project sites to determine fence installation requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and construction teams to understand project specifications and expectations.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the installation projects.
• Generate comprehensive project proposals.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of fence installation projects, from planning to completion.
• Procure necessary materials.
• Develop and maintain project schedule.
• Regularly communicate project status updates to clients and internal teams.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during the project and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with crews and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to installation teams.
• Promote safety and quality throughout the project.
• Foster a positive and motivating work environment to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure fence installations meet standards, local codes, and client specifications.
• Conduct inspections to guarantee the quality of workmanship and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Complete 1 hour of continued education a quarter.
• Demonstrate the Seegars Fence Company Core Values daily.
