About the position

The E&I Estimator/Project Manager at Zadok Technologies is responsible for managing the RFQ process for Electrical and Instrumentation projects, ensuring the integrity of proposals and bids for both land and offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico. This role requires a strong understanding of client specifications, effective communication with stakeholders, and the ability to analyze project requirements to deliver competitive estimates.

Responsibilities

• Review client specifications and drawings to determine scope of work, attend pre-bid meetings, and summarize requirements.
• Coordinate the construction estimating effort and maintain a standard estimating process.
• Effectively communicate with internal customers, vendors, and clients throughout the estimating process.
• Perform material and labor takeoffs based on project specifications and design documents.
• Analyze projects for value engineering options considering specific job conditions that may affect labor and material.
• Request material and equipment quotes from vendors and equipment suppliers.
• Assist project team in resolving estimating issues involving cost, schedule, and changes on projects.
• Enhance historical cost databases with the implementation, collection, and publishing of project metrics.
• Prepare and issue RFQs along with a method of measurement to subcontractors and ensure timely quotations.
• Prepare presentation/summary of cost calculation results and submit to management for approval.
• Compile all information from bids and quotes into an estimate template.

Requirements

• 5+ years E&I Estimating and/or Project Management experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Prior experience in sales, project management, and purchasing is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico.
• Familiarity with cost databases and project metrics.
