About the position

The Estimator/Project Manager at Prime Construction Services is responsible for managing multiple commercial construction projects from the bidding phase through to completion. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from bidding to completion.
• Prepare accurate estimates for project costs.
• Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Construction knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Proficient in computer usage and ability to learn new software.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a tradesman.
• Familiarity with On Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Estimating.
