About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Builder to join our team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in dock building and will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, assembling products, and maintaining safety standards in a warehouse environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and adherence to OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks to move materials and products within the warehouse.
• Utilize pallet jacks and order pickers for efficient handling of inventory.
• Assemble products according to specifications, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
• Maintain an organized workspace, adhering to OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management using a warehouse management system.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and effectively, including pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and order pickers.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in construction estimating (1 year preferred).
