About the position
The Estimator position involves scoping and estimating property damage losses for residential and commercial properties in the Denver metro area. The role requires effective communication and sales skills, as candidates will interact with customers, clients, and insurance adjusters. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating projects of various sizes and will work collaboratively with multiple teams to manage restoration projects.
Responsibilities
- Scope and estimate residential and commercial property damage losses due to fire, mold, and water.
- Communicate effectively with customers, clients, and insurance adjusters.
- Sell new jobs and present estimates to clients.
- Collaborate with Customer Care, Project Management, Field Supervisors, and Business Development teams.
- Manage assigned fire, water, and mold damage restoration projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in insurance restoration estimating.
- At least 1 year of sales experience.
- Proficiency in Xactimate.
- Self-starter with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Computer literate and experienced with cloud-based applications.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the restoration industry for 3 years (preferred).
- Sales experience for 2 years (preferred).
