About the position
The Estimator at Kattsafe is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for bid projects, roof safety audits, and estimate requests from the sales and marketing team. This role involves analyzing project requirements, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring that all estimates meet high qualification standards and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for bid projects and roof safety audits.
- Analyze project requirements and collaborate with various departments to gather necessary information.
- Review project plans and specifications to develop detailed cost estimates.
- Analyze material and time requirements for each project.
- Prepare and present cost estimates within budget to clients and management.
- Monitor and update estimates as project details evolve.
- Maintain historical costs and pricing information.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risks.
- Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience as an Estimator in a construction environment.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and ERP systems preferably INFOR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
