About the position

The ETF Sales Associate at State Street Global Advisors will play a crucial role in driving business with clients in high-wealth areas within a designated territory. This position involves direct ownership of intermediary clients and collaboration with external Regional Consultants to enhance SPDR market share. The role emphasizes sales planning, client engagement, and business leadership within the asset management sector.

Responsibilities

• Align and execute territory business plans to improve the distribution of SPDR ETFs among financial advisors.
• Orchestrate a team selling process using expertise and resources within SPDR and State Street Global Advisors.
• Deliver excellent client service and quality outbound client engagement through digital mediums such as WebEx, conference calls, phone calls, and emails.
• Support the business through internal and external relationship development.

Requirements

• Series 7 and 63 preferred (or must be obtained within 6 months after start date).
• Bachelor's degree; Masters or other advanced degree preferred.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interest in investment products, ETFs, and the financial advice industry.
• Willingness and ability to travel periodically.
• 1-3 years of financial services experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the wealth management industry.
• Familiarity with State Street and/or SPDR ETFs.
• Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in the industry and capital markets.
• Existing relationships within the intermediary channel are useful, but not required.
• Progress towards CIMA, CFA, CFP, MBA and/or advanced degree.
