About the position

The ETL/Analytics Developer with PySpark is responsible for developing and programming IT solutions using Python to enhance customer experience applications. This role involves documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and maintenance of applications, while ensuring IT controls for data confidentiality and integrity. The developer will also evaluate and performance test purchased products, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT solutions provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and program IT solutions using Python for customer experience applications.
• Document the system and conduct unit tests and peer code reviews.
• Maintain internally developed applications and evaluate purchased products.
• Implement IT controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications and data.
• Develop REST APIs and process batch files using Python.
• Schedule batch processes and ensure effective coding design and documentation protocols.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related work experience in technical design and coding in the IT industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, and change management.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with various databases such as MySQL, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of PySpark and Hadoop environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Health Care or Financial domains.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
