About the position
The ETL DataStage Developer will be responsible for designing and constructing scalable data management systems that meet company requirements. This role involves integrating new data management technologies, developing processes for data mining and modeling, and collaborating with various teams to ensure data reliability and quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
- Ensure that all systems meet business and industry requirements.
- Integrate new data management and software engineering technologies into existing structures.
- Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Create custom software components and analytics applications.
- Research new uses for existing data.
- Collaborate with team members on project goals.
- Recommend improvements for data reliability and quality.
- Understand business processes related to disputes and data management.
- Build data products for case management in the Snowflake environment.
- Extract data and implement it into production while meeting compliance standards.
Requirements
- Technical degree or related work experience.
- Experience with non-relational and relational databases (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB).
- Experience programming and architecting data extraction using DataStage or similar tools.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
- Good understanding of data modeling concepts and experience.
- Experience working with JSON file formats.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to lead and follow up on work.
- Ability to document work and share knowledge with the team.

- Experience with cloud technologies.
- Snowflake database experience.
- Experience with DBT.
