About the position

The ETL Database Specialist position at Rose International is a temporary role focused on supporting a project that transitions from a custom ServiceNow solution to a standard installation. The specialist will work closely with senior management and technical teams to determine data requirements and implement effective data manipulation and storage strategies. This role requires a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days remote, and is aimed at candidates located near Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements and business data implementation approaches.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of databases to management systems.
• Design, implement, automate, and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
• Modify existing databases and database management systems and direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications.

Requirements

• Experience with database technologies (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of the ETL process.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated history of success in data-related roles.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server.
