About the position

The ETL Developer will be responsible for developing and automating ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center. This role involves data acquisition from various sources, transforming data for dimensional modeling, and collaborating with the Data Engineering Team to design optimal data solutions. The position requires participation in agile development practices and close interaction with architects and team members to address technical challenges and enhance data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Data acquisition from a variety of data sources for multiple uses.
• Developing complex SQL scripts to transform source data into a dimensional model.
• Creating views and materialized views in Oracle.
• Developing automation with Informatica IICS or Power Center to pull and transform data.
• Collaborating with the Data Engineering Team on data design and implementation.
• Verification and validation of SQL scripts, Informatica automation, and database views.
• Developing automated verification and validation processes.
• Participating in all sprint ceremonies.
• Working closely with Architects and Data Engineering Team on implementation designs.
• Enhancing and maintaining a Java website that provides Tableau dashboards.
• Developing mockups and validating with customers.
• Addressing technical problems with team members.
• Assisting with the implementation and configuration of developmental tools.
• Producing and maintaining technical specifications and documentation.
• Participating in requirements and design sessions.
• Interpreting new business requirements and proposing enhancements.

Requirements

• 8 Years of Experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC or Power Center.
• 8 Years of Experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple data sources using Informatica for Tableau.
• 8 Years of Experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts.
• 8 Years of Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as a system analyst for data analytics or data warehousing projects.
• 8 Years of Technical writing and diagramming skills, including proficiency with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 8 Years of Experience in planning and delivering software platforms across multiple products.
• 8 Years of Experience designing and developing scripts using Python.
• 8 Years of Experience on an agile sprint team.
• 8 Years of Experience with JIRA software.

• 4 Years of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 4 Years of Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry.
• 4 Years of Prior experience with an HHS agency.
• 4 Years of Prior experience working with PII or PHI data.
• 4 Years of Expertise with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs.
• 4 Years of Prior experience creating website/user interfaces using HTML/CSS practices.
• 4 Years of Functional knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• 4 Years of Experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau.
