About the position

The ETL Developer role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining data integration processes to meet business requirements. This position is ideal for an advanced or lead-level resource who is proficient in multiple technologies and design techniques, particularly in ETL processes using Informatica and SQL. The developer will be responsible for creating and managing database objects, loading data from various sources, and ensuring optimal performance of ETL workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes to meet business requirements.
• Create and maintain database tables, objects, and indexes.
• Load data from multiple sources into staging areas using Informatica or SQL Loader.
• Create mappings and workflows in Informatica and schedule jobs using Autosys.
• Perform performance tuning of ETL processes and database queries.
• Debug and document programming to ensure clarity and maintainability.

Requirements

• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Expertise in Informatica development including mappings, mapplets, transformations, sessions, and workflows.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting and Autosys scheduling.
• Strong SQL tuning experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle advanced features such as AWR, Oracle collections, and SQL plan management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data warehousing concepts.
