About the position

The ETL Developer position is a mid-level role focused on supporting the Corporate Risk Management (CRM) organization through the development and maintenance of integrated data infrastructure. The role involves working as an individual contributor to develop, document, and oversee ETL/ELT processes, ensuring efficient data use in reporting, analytics, and modeling. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to understand complex business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
  • Create console applications to provide ETL and reporting capabilities.
  • Integrate with internal and external data sources and systems.
  • Participate in project onboarding and requirements gathering processes.
  • Collaborate with team members and prioritize work effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience in a development role.
  • Experience in design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of business solutions.
  • Database development experience and understanding of data structure/architecture.
  • ETL and reporting automation experience.
  • Code-driven experience, not solely using automation/RPA tools.
  • Integration with external data sources and APIs.
  • Business analysis experience with complex SQL queries and query optimization.
  • Expertise in GCP, SQL Server, Oracle DB, and related technologies.
  • Experience with C#, Python, R, and related languages.
  • Strong understanding of OOP principles.
  • Experience writing testable and configurable code for multiple environments.
  • Ability to establish productive relationships with business and IT partners.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills with management levels.
  • Knowledge of the brokerage/investment advisory industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
