About the position

The ETL Developer - Oracle position is a permanent role within a leading organization in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing ETL processes to manage complex data sets, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations. This role offers an opportunity to apply technical expertise in a dynamic environment that directly impacts healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and implement ETL processes using Oracle and other ETL tools to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand and refine project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to ETL processes, including data flow diagrams and process maps.
  • Optimize and tune ETL processes to ensure performance and scalability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot ETL processes to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to facilitate data integration across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in ETL technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience as an ETL Developer, preferably in the medical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle and other ETL tools.
  • Proficient in SQL and other database technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data structures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex ETL processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
