We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to build out and optimize specific components of our new hire automation process using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). This role involves integrating web services and REST APIs, handling error management and logging, understanding database architecture, and performing DB object creation and maintenance. Additionally, experience with PowerShell to manage Active Directory changes within SSIS packages is essential. The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SSIS packages that automate and streamline the new hire process. This includes integrating web services and REST APIs into SSIS packages to facilitate data exchange and process automation. The role requires implementing robust error handling and trapping mechanisms within SSIS packages to ensure reliability and data integrity, as well as setting up detailed logging to monitor package execution and troubleshoot issues effectively. A strong understanding of the existing database architecture is crucial to ensure seamless integration and data flow within the SSIS packages. The ETL Developer will also perform database object creation and maintenance, including writing and executing DDL scripts as needed. Furthermore, the role involves utilizing PowerShell within SSIS packages to automate changes in Active Directory as part of the new hire process, and developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to support and enhance automation workflows. Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand automation needs is essential, along with documenting SSIS package designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing.
