Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL and Snowflake.
• Create SQL procedures and build data pipelines efficiently.
• Utilize Snowflake functionalities such as Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel.
• Load and unload data in various formats including CSV, JSON, and VARIANT.
• Design and create database objects that support business processes.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging of developed solutions.
• Build proof of concept projects to demonstrate capabilities.
• Collaborate with teams on SDLC, testing, and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in software development with a focus on Snowflake.
• Expertise in Snowflake DB architecture and functionalities.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and ETL processes.
• Experience with data warehousing and data engineering at an enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JIRA.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in Snowflake.
