About the position

The ETL Developer position involves the design, development, and implementation of a data integration hub for the HHS. The role focuses on ETL administration, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions, utilizing agile methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle. The developer will work on automating data acquisition, developing complex SQL scripts, and providing operational support for the integration hub.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and configuration of the infrastructure for the data integration hub
• Design, development, and implementation of the data integration hub using agile methodology
• Validation of performance metric requirements
• Creation of Epics/User Stories/Tasks
• Automation of data acquisition from various data sources
• Development of complex SQL scripts
• Testing integration, load, and stress
• Deployment/publication internally and externally
• Operations support and enhancement of the data integration hub
• ETL Administration with a focus on data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
• Informatica IICS Administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance
• Knowledge of Power Exchange Change Data Capture (CDC) on PowerCenter and IICS
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins
• Innovative automation of administrative tasks using Python and shell scripting
• Analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages
• Designing, developing, and deploying ETL pipelines using Informatica and IICS
• Familiarity with a wide range of data sources including relational databases and cloud platforms
• Experience in data quality, validation, and data migration projects
• Linux/Unix experience

Requirements

• 8 years of experience as an ETL Administrator with a focus on data warehousing and business intelligence solutions
• 8 years of experience with Informatica IICS Administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance
• 8 years of knowledge of Power Exchange Change Data Capture (CDC) on both PowerCenter and IICS
• 8 years of experience with cloud background and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins
• 8 years of ability to automate administrative tasks using Python and shell scripting
• 8 years of excellent analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages
• 8 years of proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying ETL pipelines using Informatica and IICS
• 8 years of familiarity with a wide range of data sources: relational databases, flat files, and cloud platforms
• 8 years of experience in data quality, validation, and data migration projects
• 8 years of Linux/Unix experience
• 8 years of technical writing and diagramming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools
• 8 years of experience on an agile sprint team
• 8 years of experience with JIRA software
• 8 years of experience working with multiple teams concurrently
• 8 years of knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing
• 8 years of proficiency in SQL, Python, and Bash
• 8 years of familiarity with cloud ecosystems like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
