About the position

The ETL Developer with Big Data role at Innova Solutions involves designing, developing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting data-warehouse and business intelligence applications. This hybrid position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure data quality and stability while translating business requirements into technical specifications. The developer will utilize tools like Informatica and SQL to implement ETL processes and support existing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica, SQL, and Linux shell scripting.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop and support complex ETL flows connecting to heterogeneous databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Server.
• Conduct performance tuning activities for new and existing applications.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data quality issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to manage interdependencies and maintain data quality.
• Document software stability through code reviews and testing processes.
• Lead the development of complex Oracle procedures, functions, and packages.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with Informatica or other ETL tools.
• 6+ years of professional experience with SQL/PLSQL.
• Strong data analysis and advanced SQL query writing skills.
• Experience with data federations, data lakes, and cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with job scheduling tools, preferably Autosys.
• Hands-on experience with Unix Shell Scripting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with large data sets using big data solutions such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Exposure to Trino, Starburst, or similar vendor tools.
• Strong experience in data warehousing and data architecture.
