About the position

The ETL Developer position at Alltech involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes to support data integration and transformation for various projects, primarily focused on serving the Federal Government and Government Integrators. This role is crucial for ensuring data quality and availability for decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Maintain and optimize existing ETL workflows to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve ETL process issues and data discrepancies.
• Document ETL processes and maintain technical specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an ETL Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools and technologies (e.g., Informatica, Talend, etc.).
• Experience with SQL and database management systems.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud-based ETL solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
