About the position

Mastech is seeking an experienced ETL Developer to join our team for a contract-to-hire position in the IT Services domain. The role requires a strong background in ETL processes, particularly with Informatica, and a solid understanding of database management and data warehousing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for developing and managing ETL processes to support data integration and reporting needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ETL processes using Informatica.
• Work with Oracle databases and PL/SQL for data manipulation.
• Create and maintain SQL Server/SSIS packages.
• Conduct data analysis to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Architect and Development Lead to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Schedule Informatica jobs and manage job execution.
• Participate in the release process using HARVEST package moves.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer.
• Strong skills in ETL/Informatica.
• Proficient in Oracle database management and PL/SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server and SSIS packages.
• Some experience in data analysis.
• Exposure to BI reporting tools like OBIEE is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling Informatica jobs, preferably with CA7 scheduler.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with HP-AML is optional.
