About the position

Trillium is seeking an ETL Developer to enable digital transformation for our partners through a global delivery model. In this role, you will be responsible for researching technologies independently, recommending appropriate solutions, and providing technology-specific best practices and standards. You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Process. As an ETL Developer, you will participate in crafting application architecture documents to ensure that your work aligns with architectural requirements. You will create design artifacts and support prototyping through the development of Proofs of Concept (POCs). Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality code and supporting peers in quality checks to ensure that design requirements are met. Additionally, you will create documentation for the assigned modules and lead validation activities for all types of testing, including Functional, Integration, System, and User Experience testing. You will also support the creation of the “Go Live” plan and lead assigned activities within that plan. In the event of any issues arising post-implementation, you will perform root-cause analysis and work on appropriate solutions. Participation in Knowledge Transfer sessions, preparation of system appreciation documents, and support for the transition process will also be part of your role. You will conduct impact analysis of logged issues, prioritize them, and ensure that production support is provided as per committed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Furthermore, you will lead data integration projects and support and mentor other team members to enhance the team's effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA, as the current hybrid model requires 2-3 days per week in the office.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of dynamic experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Informatica IICS ETL.
  • Experience with other ETL platforms (SSIS, ODI, C DATA).
  • Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts.
  • U.S. Citizenship or those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Good understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
  • Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data.
  • Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
