About the position

The ETL Developer role focuses on data integration, particularly using Informatica and Microsoft SSIS, to support financial data migration and system integration efforts. The position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure accurate and efficient data handling, with an emphasis on financial data integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define impacts of the Florida PALM implementation on existing Department interfaces.
• Develop migration plans for current interfaces, adopting newer technologies like Informatica.
• Outline data inputs and outputs for Department assets interfacing with the Department of Financial Services (FLAIR).
• Design and implement data integration solutions with an emphasis on accuracy and integrity in financial data.
• Collaborate with the Comptroller's Office to understand data requirements and create data models for financial reporting and analysis.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate tools for secure and efficient data integration.
• Develop and conduct testing plans for data accuracy and reliability.
• Mentor CLIENT staff on Informatica best practices.
• Document data integration processes for compliance and team knowledge sharing.
• Ensure adherence to existing development standards and create detailed source-to-target mapping documents.
• Work closely with the reports remediation team to meet FPST project data requirements.
• Participate in Agile Scrum processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (Equivalent work experience can be substituted on a year-for-year basis).
• Minimum 5 years in systems integrations and/or ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).
• Proven track record with integration tools like Informatica and Microsoft SSIS.
• Strong SQL skills with databases such as DB2 v12, SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Snowflake Data Cloud.

Nice-to-haves
