Analytica is seeking a remote ETL Developer to support a federal government client. The ideal candidate will work in a consultative approach with clients and possess solid experience in ETL development. The primary responsibility of the ETL Developer will be to load data on a weekly basis into a large Compliance Data Warehouse. This role is crucial as it involves working with U.S. government clients across health, civilian, and national security missions to build better technology products that significantly impact day-to-day operations. The ETL Developer will support extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes specifically for the SAP/Sybase IQ database. This includes creating and maintaining SQL scripts, stored procedures, and other program logic necessary for data manipulation. The developer will also be responsible for designing and implementing schema changes, managing indexes, and altering data objects to optimize performance. A key aspect of this role is to design efficient data models based on logical designs derived from business requirements and usage patterns. The developer will need to identify entity relationships, referential integrity constraints, and primary key structures while performing analyses of trade-offs between alternative schemas. Additionally, the ETL Developer will create and maintain comprehensive documentation that includes file specifications, schema, core record layouts, programs, business requirements, test plans, and other artifacts essential for the administration, creation, and execution of database operations. The ability to mentor other developers is also a valuable asset, and experience in leading projects or teams is considered a plus.
