About the position

The ETL Developer role focuses on data acquisition and transformation from various sources to support data analytics and visualization efforts. The position involves developing complex SQL scripts, automating ETL processes using Informatica, and collaborating with the Data Engineering Team to design optimal data models. The developer will also enhance web applications that provide Tableau dashboards and participate in agile sprint ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Data acquisition from a variety of data sources for multiple uses.
• Develop complex SQL scripts to transform source data into a dimensional model.
• Create views and materialized views in Oracle.
• Develop automation with Informatica IICS or Power Center for data transformation.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering Team on data design and implementation.
• Verify and validate SQL scripts, Informatica automation, and database views.
• Develop automated verification and validation processes.
• Participate in all sprint ceremonies.
• Work closely with Architects and Data Engineering Team on implementation designs.
• Enhance and maintain the Java website providing Tableau dashboards.
• Develop mockups and validate with customers.
• Address technical problems collaboratively with team members.
• Assist with the implementation and configuration of developmental tools.
• Produce and maintain technical specifications and documentation.
• Participate in requirements and design sessions.
• Interpret new business requirements and propose enhancements.

Requirements

• Experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center.
• Experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources using Informatica for Tableau.
• Experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts that are efficient.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data analytics or data warehousing.
• Technical writing and diagramming skills, proficiency with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in planning and delivering software platforms across multiple products.
• Experience designing and developing scripts using Python.
• Experience on an agile sprint team.
• Experience with JIRA software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Understanding of security principles related to healthcare data.
• Experience with software components for performance metrics visualization.
• Ability to self-manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize assignments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry.
• Expertise in web applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs.

• Experience with Adobe PDF data sources.
• Familiarity with performance management systems.
• Experience with data visualization tools beyond Tableau.
