About the position

Mastech is a growing company dedicated to innovation and teamwork. We are currently seeking an ETL Developer for our client in the IT Services domain. This position is a Contract To Hire role, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, with a focus on Informatica and Oracle databases. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of IT-related experience, with a comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes. The ETL Developer will work closely with Data Architects and Development Leads to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions. This position is based in Cleveland, OH, and offers a market rate compensation package. The duration of the contract is 6 months, with the potential for permanent placement based on performance and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Development Leads to design data solutions.
• Perform data analysis to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Schedule and monitor Informatica jobs, preferably using CA7 scheduler.
• Participate in the release management process, including HARVEST package moves.
• Support BI reporting initiatives, particularly with OBIEE.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an ETL Developer.
• Strong skills in ETL/Informatica.
• Proficient in Oracle database management and PL/SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server and SSIS packages.
• Some experience in data analysis is required.
• Exposure to BI reporting tools, especially OBIEE, is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with scheduling Informatica jobs, preferably with CA7.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Data Architects and Development Leads.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with HP-AML is optional.
