About the position

The ETL Developer role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining complex systems using SQL Server as the backend database. This mid-level to senior position requires a strong background in Informatica and SQL, along with experience in various software development methodologies. The developer will work closely with the Board IT's System Development Methodology (SDM) to ensure best coding practices are followed while delivering applications. The role requires U.S. citizenship and a bachelor's degree, along with the ability to pass a Federal background check for Level 4 Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and release applications following the Board IT's System Development Methodology (SDM).
  • Develop mappings of varied complexity using Informatica.
  • Utilize SQL Server as the backend database for application development.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze issues to determine root causes and conditions for their occurrence.
  • Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a sense of accountability and urgency.
  • Collaborate with team members while also being able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Design and develop service-oriented web applications using .NET 5, ASP.NET Core, and other technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong Informatica development experience.
  • Strong SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps) and SQL Server 2019.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to determine root causes of problems.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of B2B and data transformation.
  • Experience with multiple SDLC models, particularly Agile methodologies.
  • Experience designing and developing web applications using .NET 5, ASP.NET Core, VB.NET, C#, Entity Framework, Web API, Angular, Python, HTML 5, CSS3.
