The ETL Developer position at Digital iTechnology is a full-time role based in Richmond, VA, offering a competitive pay rate of $75 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing systems for the maintenance of the Data Asset Program, ETL processes, and business intelligence. This role requires a strong understanding of data integration and the ability to work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other data consumers within the business to gather and populate data hubs and data warehouses. The candidate will also be tasked with designing and supporting the data warehouse database and table schemas for both new and existing data sources, ensuring that the data architecture aligns with business needs and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering business data analysis artifacts, with at least 5 years as an Agile Business Analyst. A strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodologies is essential, as is experience in organizing and maintaining product and sprint backlogs. The candidate should be proficient in translating client and product strategy requirements into dataset requirements and user stories, as well as defining acceptance criteria and managing the acceptance process. Exceptional experience in writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle is required, along with expertise in Azure Databricks and ESRI ArcGIS. In addition to technical skills, the candidate must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with a diverse set of peers and customers. The role also demands strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects efficiently. The candidate will be expected to have advanced knowledge of database architectures, including key data warehousing architectures such as Kimball and Inmon, and broad experience in designing solutions using a variety of technologies.
