About the position

The ETL Developer role is focused on architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable data applications and data pipelines. This position requires extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with Informatica and Snowflake, to provide technical solutions for complex business problems. The developer will work closely with product managers and scrum masters to ensure successful project delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical solutions for complex business problems and provide recommendations.
• Architect and develop end-to-end scalable data applications and data pipelines.
• Lead the team in assisting with story creation and sprint deliverables.
• Develop automated Informatica data pipelines and ensure data quality and profiling.
• Work with enterprise data warehouse solutions and various databases including Snowflake and AWS technologies.
• Design and implement automated data solutions using Snowflake lakehouse.
• Mentor other technologists in data engineering best practices.
• Implement data solutions with a focus on CICD, change management, and data security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of experience in technology and data engineering, particularly in developing data applications and pipelines.
• 7 years of experience leading automated Informatica data pipelines, with at least 4 years in Informatica Cloud (IICS).
• 7 years of experience with enterprise data warehouse solutions and various databases.
• 5 years of experience designing automated data solutions using Snowflake lakehouse and programming in SQL or Python.
• 5 years of experience mentoring other technologists.
• 4 years of experience with software engineering best practices and agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS or Informatica or Snowflake certification is preferred.
• Experience with Dataiku is a plus.
