About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an ETL Informatica / Ab Initio Developer for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves consulting on complex initiatives related to Database Engineering, analyzing multifaceted challenges, and collaborating with client personnel. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL development and data migration, particularly in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Database Engineering
• Review and analyze complex multi-faceted Database Engineering challenges
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring understanding of functions, policies, and compliance requirements
• Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements

• 8+ years of solid experience working with ETL Informatica / Ab Initio development
• 5+ years strong experience in ETL development of data pipelines for data ingestion, preparation, integration, aggregation, and feature engineering
• 4+ years of experience working with SQL Server databases
• 5+ years of experience migrating legacy data platforms to cloud and modern architecture
• 4+ years of Unix Shell scripting
• 2+ years of experience with semi-structured data and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of Agile experience
• Ability to present to multiple levels of management
• Experience analyzing large data sets and identifying trends
