About the position

The ETL Informatica Developer role is focused on the Data Enablement project within the Wealth Investment Management Technology (WIMT) sector. This position requires extensive experience in ETL development, particularly using Informatica, to facilitate data ingestion, preparation, integration, and aggregation. The role is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in Charlotte, NC, and is contract-based with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time employee.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica and SQL Server databases.
• Migrate legacy data platforms to cloud and modern architecture.
• Create data pipelines for data ingestion, preparation, integration, and aggregation.
• Utilize Unix Shell scripting for automation and process improvement.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in ETL Informatica / Ab Initio development.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL development for data pipelines.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server databases.
• 5+ years of experience migrating legacy data platforms to cloud.
• 4+ years of experience with Unix Shell scripting.
• 2+ years of experience with semi-structured data and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• 3+ years of experience in Agile methodologies.
