About the position

The ETL/Informatica Developer will be responsible for performing data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making. This role involves developing, designing, and implementing ETL processes using Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL within a large Data Warehouse environment. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs, support server updates, and manage Informatica cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless system integration and data security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Develop, design, and implement ETL processes using Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
• Support server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues.
• Understand project management scope and assist when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in data analysis.
• More than 8 years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL and ETL/Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica upgrade/migration.
• Experience in data quality approaches and techniques.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Agile experience in financial services or banking.
• Experience with build release orchestration tools.
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queries.
• Proven experience in the financial industry, compliance, regulatory reporting, and fraud detection.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in data visualization tools and programming languages (SQL).
• Experience working with larger projects involving multiple groups, including nearshore and offshore teams.
• Performance tuning experience.
