About the position

The ETL/Informatica Developer role involves performing data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making within a large Data Warehouse environment. The position requires the development, design, and implementation of ETL processes using Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs. The developer will also support server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects, ensuring data security and compliance, and troubleshooting data discrepancies and system issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Develop, design, and implement ETL processes using Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs.
• Support server updates and Informatica cloud migration projects.
• Ensure data security and compliance with IT team.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues.
• Understand project management scope and assist when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in data analysis.
• More than 8 years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL and ETL/Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica upgrade/migration.
• Experience in data quality approaches and techniques.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Agile experience in financial services or banking.
• Experience with build release orchestration tools.
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queries.
• Proven experience in the financial industry, compliance, regulatory reporting, and fraud detection.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in data visualization tools and programming languages (SQL).
• Experience working with larger projects involving multiple groups, including nearshore and offshore teams.
• Performance tuning experience.
